Our Interpretation of The Royal Hunt of the Sun

Note from the Director - Anna Parr
Peter Shaffer has been a playwright I have long admired. He was known for spending 3-5 years on writing a play with intricate stage directions and lavish staging concepts. Shaffer was always drawn to writing about very real characters mostly based on historic events with layered psychological struggles coming to terms with their age and questioning their very existence and meaning in life.
